2017 MICRO ENTERPRISE DEVELOPERS CONFERENCE   | June 21 – 22, 2017  |  EMBASSY SUITES - Columbia SC

The conference is a 1 1/2 day event for Small Business Development Service Providers, Financial Institutions, and Government Agencies that works with entrepreneurs. You can register to attend the conference at https://mdconference.eventbrite.com or HERE.

The conference features a business pitch competition for the chance to win cash prizes. There are two different options available for entering the competition:  1) written submission of a business plan OR 2) video submission here for the People’s Choice Award.

The video submission with the most votes from the public will win the People's Choice Award.  Winner of the People's Choice Award will win $250 PLUS entry into the live pitch on June 21st for chance to win even more cash!

How to participate in SC MICRO PITCH COMPETITION with VIDEO SUBMISSION:

1. CREATE a 1-3 minute video detailing your business idea. What is it? Who does it serve? Why will it be successful? It can be for an existing business or one you haven't launched yet. 

2. UPLOAD your video here (by June 9, 2017) for others to view and vote on. 

3. SHARE links with friends and supporters so they can vote for you between June 12 and midnight June 16, 2017.

4. TUNE IN on June 18, 2016 to learn which video earned the most votes to win the "People's Choice Aaward" and chance to compete as a finalist at the SC Micro Pitch Competition Finale on June 21, 2016. 

5. ATTEND the SC Micro Pitch Competition Finale on June 21, 2017. Finalists at this live showcase will present their business idea to a panel of experts for the chance to walk away with $3,000 cash.  Showcase will take place June 21, 2017 during the SC Micro Business Conference [6PM – Embassy Suites Hotel – Columbia SC].
